Interested in volunteering?

Healthwatch Nottingham has different and exciting volunteer roles for you to make a difference in your community. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds. You do not need any qualifications to become a volunteer and you are able to choose how much time you volunteer with us. Below is a list of our current volunteer roles. Please get in touch if you would like more information.

‘Talk to Us’ and Events Volunteers: You will be meeting people, listening to and taking note of their health and care experiences at ‘Talk to Us’ sessions around the city. You could also get involved in promoting Healthwatch Nottingham at a range of local community and health events to help us reach more citizens across the city.

Champions:  Our Champions are members of community and health groups and forums, who provide a link with Healthwatch Nottingham, passing on health and care issues from community groups to Healthwatch Nottingham, you will also help raise awareness of Healthwatch Nottingham’s work within local communities.

Projects: From time to time Healthwatch recruits and trains volunteers to work on specific projects, for example mystery shopping, desk research, and work with particular communities – we will put information here, in newsletters and on social media as and when this happens.

Office and admin volunteers: Healthwatch Nottingham is lucky to have a volunteer helping regularly with office administration. We will advertise for other office, administration and similar roles if needed.

If you might be interested or would like more information, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator Joan Cook on 0115 859 9510, or email: [email protected]
